Your Video: How to Get into the Top 3 on Google
Hi. My name is Francis. I run Better Reach Agency, and thanks for requesting this video. So today, I'll go into how you can rank in the top three on Google for your market and for your service. I've been doing this for a while now, so I know a thing or two about it and I know how you can get there. So in this video, I'll cover three things that you can apply right away to rank higher on Google. Before I do that, I right now want to show you an example of what exactly am I even talking about. So, here you can see I have Google opened and if I do a search for, let's say, plumber in Dublin, then what we see here is this basically. So there's sponsored results and there's this section called businesses. So this is the most important section here and, obviously, you might not have a plumbing business. You might have something else and I get that they all have different differences. But this is just an example, just to show you what I mean. So in this case, you can see, these, top four businesses here. They one of them is sponsored, which is you can get there if you pay Google. It's about, it's a few thousand euros a month just to stay in that spot there. And as soon as you stop paying them, they immediately remove you from the sponsored spot and then only the top three are left. So, if we look actually more into this more businesses section here, you can see there are more sponsored results here and, a lot of other businesses here as well. And these are basically the top ten when you go into that section, but, people are usually just looking at these top three and that's that's it. I think there was like, seventy percent of all the people who do the searches, they they just check these three or even four and they never go even into the more businesses. And then, apart from these top ten, you can go even lower there. There's like these businesses here and then you can go to the second page and there's many, many, many, many more. But, what we want is we want to be on the first page here and we want to be in the top three of these. Funny enough, as I was recording this, actually the sponsored result is gone. So whoever was paying for that, they stopped paying so they disappeared from here. This whole ranking thing, it depends on three things. First one is Google Business Profile and I will just quickly open this business here in the top and so this thing here is Google Business Profile. I don't know, maybe you already have it, you already have claimed it, but if you don't then you have to go into it. I believe it was business. Google dot com and you log in and then you can claim your business. And that's the first area that we have to focus on And you can see here this business has images, so that's very important to add images, has the address, has this list of services and also the reviews, regular reviews. And the second thing is the website. So I'll just open the website of this first business here, the business that's on the first spot. And the main thing here is that we need to make sure that the Google Business Profile is congruent with the website. So, the address that we are mentioning, the name of the company, all of that has to match. So in this case, Dublin Area Plumbers, they have Dublin Plumbing Services and this is the the headline itself. It has to mention two things. It has to mention what you're doing and where you're doing it. And these guys, they're ranking number one, which is good for them and they're they're doing exactly that. They also have the if we look at the services page, so services pages for each service that they have. They have their services listed here. These guys are doing a great job and also like the phone number is here and the address here as you can see is also here. So it's very easy for Google to look at the Google business profile and then look at this website and figure out that that's the same business. And if Google bot is able to do that, like then it immediately can push the business higher into the ranking. I also wanted to mention that this is the thing that I do for the businesses. I implement this connection from Google business profile to the website and, yeah. I'll do all sorts of changes in the titles, in the descriptions and, make sure that, Google finds this this website very related to the Google Business profile. And yeah, so that's one thing. I can also rebuild the website from scratch if that's needed. And also there's this one thing. I'll just show you. So this code, right? Code thing. This is a well, it's a special kind of hell. So you you have to do updates here if it's necessary and then you can see it here, the title. I don't want to go into details here. It's very technical, I understand. So, yeah, this is another thing that I can handle for you. So, that's that and now the third thing is we want to make sure that if we look at this section here, place a site, that your website, it's mentioned on all of these websites. These websites help Google to figure out if your business is a real business in a real area. If we mention you on these websites, that will help to rank higher. The idea here is that k. Just quickly switch. Yep. So, the idea here is that you want to make sure that Google knows that you're a real business in a real area and to do that, you have to be mentioned on those, other websites like Golden Pages, like Trustpilot, even navigation software like Google app Google Maps or Apple Maps. So, all of that helps to figure out are you a real business and are you in a real area? And, also, people mess this up sometimes. They, first of all, they are not even on those other pages and also they have a wrong business name in the listings or they have a wrong address there as well. So, it's it all has to be, perfect in that sense that when Google checks the listing on those other pages, that those listings actually match your website. And, another thing I wanted to mention is that not only people sometimes write a wrong address or a write a wrong business name, like spelling mistakes or or things like that, they also are not mentioned on enough of those external authority websites. I have like a list of just like forty seven websites where any local business has to be. And additionally to that, there are other websites that are where you also have to be mentioned, but those are dependent on the location where your business is. I will have to do a separate research on, find those out, and then we would put you there as well. If you do all these things, you will rank better.
